West Windsor is one of the better-served corners of Mercer County for racquet sports. Within the township there are free township tennis courts, a county tennis center with indoor and outdoor courts and dedicated pickleball courts, and private indoor clubs. This independent guide pulls the published facts together in one place and links to the operators so you can check hours and fees before you go.

What was the Windsor Tennis Club?
This domain was formerly the website of the Windsor Tennis Club, a private tennis facility on Clarksville Road in West Windsor, with a Princeton mailing address. The public record about the club is thin, and this site only repeats what published sources show:
- Court directories list the venue as "Windsor Tennis Club / Advantage Tennis Club" at 99 Clarksville Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540, with phone (609) 799-5930. The Pickleheads listing records nine indoor hard courts with permanent lines and nets, used for pickleball by members, with court reservations made through the club. A separate, older Bounce listing for "Windsor Tennis Club" describes a smaller pickleball setup with portable nets.
- A 2018 advertising feature in the West Windsor & Plainsboro News described Advantage Tennis at 99 Clarksville Road, next to the Windsor Athletic Club, with nine courts covered by air-supported tennis domes from mid-September to mid-May and played outdoors the rest of the year. It offered junior programs from age 3, adult programs and a high-performance training track.
- Both directories note that access was for members only.
Published sources do not give the club's founding date or explain the change of name, so this guide does not speculate. If you are looking for the club itself, contact the operator at 99 Clarksville Road directly — this site is not the club, cannot book courts and does not sell memberships.
Public courts in brief
West Windsor Township's Parks & Recreation department lists tennis at three parks. The Hendrickson Drive Tennis Complex, next to Route 571, has five lighted courts, a practice wall and a playground, and is home to the township's tennis program. Duck Pond Park on Meadow Road has two courts within its roughly 120 acres. West Windsor Community Park, the township's main 123-acre recreation park, lists two tennis courts and two pickleball courts. Details are on the public tennis courts page.
The county option
Mercer County Park, whose tennis center sits on Old Trenton Road in West Windsor, has the area's largest public facility: 22 outdoor courts, six indoor courts and four pickleball courts. County residents can buy an annual tennis/pickleball ID card; others pay a per-person court fee. See Mercer County Park Tennis Center for fees and booking rules.
